Julie has been the Executive Administrator since January 2017. She joined UUMN in 2005 when she began an eleven year tenure as the Worship Arts Director of the Unitarian Church of Lincoln. Julie served as Director of Member Services, Director of Communication and as a member of the Conference Planning Committee, in addition to designing our newsletter and conference program book.
Bea Ann Phillips

Bea Ann is an independent meeting professional with over 25 years of experience planning meetings, conferences and trade shows for groups of 50-1500. She is also the Director of Children, Youth and SHINE (Healing) choirs at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, VA, a role she has held for 12 years.
Compensation and Staffing Practices Manager
Jan joined the UUA staff in 2011. After 5 years in the Professional Development Office, where she oversaw the Music Leadership Certification and Religious Education Credentialing Programs, Jan moved to the Office of Church Staff Finances. In providing guidance on compensation, personnel matters, staff transitions, and healthy teams, she strives to equip congregations for excellence as employers and their staff for financial competence and well-being.
Professional Development Programs Manager
Pat has been the Professional Development Programs Manager in the Faith Development Office since Oct 2016, with responsibility for the Music Leadership certification, Religious Education Credentialing, and Renaissance programs. She is a Master level Credentialed religious educator.
UUA Liaison to the UUMN Board
Julie has been a member of UUMN since 2007 and began serving as Liaison to the Board in 2010. In that role, she represents UUMN at the UUA and the UUA at UUMN. She is currently the (Interim) Executive Assistant to UUA President, Susan Frederick-Gray. A lifelong “member of the choir,” and possessor of a whole can full of earworms on any given day, she embrace sthe motto, “A day without music is just NOT.”
